The idea is to allow users to quickly add their ‘rating’ of various cultural items and with it a small, one line review (compatible with Twitter and Facebook etc). The complex design was custom built in collaboration with our friends OH Digital, with design by Unequal Balance. The site already has over 10000 items and more are being added all the time.

Euclid International wanted to update their website which had become disorganised from years of adding content and changing requirements. They wanted a website with a number of custom features including a complex PayWall system where their user base subscribed to be able to view the content. We designed a complex site with an underlying recurring subscription system which allows payment (via PayPal) directly on the site and instant access to the content and articles. The site also includes a members directory and the functionality to allow users to post articles directly to the website. A newsletter system was also incorporated which emails subscribers a weekly digest of new articles and content – all automated.

Vital Spark Limited provide temporary electrical installations to events. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years, the company owner wanted an online presence to allow a new point of contact for prospective clients. We mapped their domain to our hosting and built a completely new site using a simple WordPress theme. We also helped generate original content editing copy and images provided by the client.

In partnership with OH Digital and Unequal Balance, we project managed the design and build of a new website for the UK Cultural Contact Point managed by Visiting Arts. The brief was to create a custom built website with simple but effective design but with a limited budget. A core feature was the SPPACE database which was a database of projects and partners including geographical data. The data was suitably complex and a major difficulty was finding a simple and elegant way for this data to be displayed on the Front End. By bringing together expert designers and advanced php developers, we managed to deliver an easy-to-navigate but striking design.
